Uberall Acquires Navads to Accelerate Global Growth

San Francisco – 6th September 2018)​ – Uberall, Inc., a company offering location marketing solutions for businesses competing to attract and win local brick-and-mortar customers, has announced the acquisition of Navads, a company in listings and location data management for agencies that serve enterprise and SMB brands. The acquisition makes Uberall one of the largest location marketing platforms in the world. Navads is used by more than ​800 brands across four continents. Their API is relied upon by many marketing technology companies, resellers and agencies to power their enterprise and SMB clients. Ciena Announces Intent to Acquire DonRiver
Hanover, Md. – 5th September 2018 - Ciena® Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held DonRiver, a global software and services company specializing in federated network and service inventory management solutions within the service provider Operational Support Systems (OSS) environment. Marcus Thomas acquires marketing automation technology partner
5th September 2018 - Cleveland - Marcus Thomas, an independent marketing communications agency, has acquired Devs United, a customer engagement technology company, focused on providing solutions around the Salesforce platform. Devs United helps companies implement customer relationship management (CRM) programs, marketing automation technologies and other customer engagements applications as a registered Salesforce consulting partner. The acquisition will combine Devs United’s expertise in customer engagement marketing with Marcus Thomas’ deep bench in analytics, digital media, social marketing and strategy. Atlassian Acquires OpsGenie – Powerful Incident Management Platform – for $295 Million
Sydney - 4th September 2018 - Atlassian Corp., a maker of programs for coordinating software development, is acquiring OpsGenie inc, a platform which alerts engineers to software and website outages, for $295 million. OpsGenie will work with Atlassian’s new information technology service management product, Jira Ops, which helps IT workers track outages and minimize downtime. This latest acquisition follows the acquisition of StatusPage back in 2016, a status and incident communication tool. The company also recently sold its corporate chat assets to rival, Slack inc. said Atlassian’s co-CEO, Scott Farquhar, said: "One of the reasons we withdrew from the communications market is we see a much, much, much bigger prize for us in IT''. The company plans to announce the acquisition of OpsGenie as well as a test version of Jira Ops at its European user conference in Barcelona.

Bell completes acquisition of Axia NetMedia, assumes all operations of Alberta's SuperNet broadband network
Calgary – 4th September 2018 - BCE Inc. has announced it has completed the acquisition of Axia NetMedia Corporation, the Calgary-based operator of SuperNet, the Alberta broadband network connecting thousands of provincial and municipal offices, Indigenous communities, schools, libraries, healthcare institutions, businesses and Internet service providers throughout the province. In addition to the contract to supply all SuperNet services, Bell now owns and operates Axia network assets. The acquisition also creates new opportunities to provide advanced Bell Business Markets (BBM) solutions in Security, Data Centres and Unified Communications to Alberta-based and national enterprise customers and Internet service providers in the province. The integrated Bell-Axia team will be led by Dan McKeen, Bell's Vice Chair, Western Canada, and Ryan Klassen, who will be responsible for all day-to-day operations in the newly created role of Vice President, Business Solutions and Axia Group.

Access Healthcare acquires revenue cycle services provider Pacific BPO

Cognizant to Acquire SaaSfocus to Expand Salesforce Cloud Consulting Capabilities
Teaneck, NJ – 23rd August 2018 - Cognizant has announced it has agreed to acquire SaaSfocus, a privately-held consulting firm specializing in digital transformation, leveraging the Salesforce Platform.
