Accenture Acquires Intrigo Systems, Expands its Capabilities in Digital Supply Chains

New York – 5th November 2018 – Accenture has acquired US-based Intrigo Systems, a provider of advisory and systems integration services for SAP® enterprise and cloud solutions in e-commerce, supply chain and procurement. The acquisition strengthens Accenture’s capabilities in delivering end-to-end supply chain transformations that can result in better visibility and buying decisions. Thoma Bravo to Acquire Veracode Software from Broadcom Inc. for $950 Million

San Francisco, California and Burlington, Massachusetts - 5th November 2018 — Thoma Bravo, a private equity investment firm, has announced that it has agreed to acquire Veracode, provider of next-generation application security testing (AST), from Broadcom Inc. for $950 million in cash. Currently, a division of Broadcom Inc. Veracode’s SaaS platform and integrated solutions help security teams and software developers find and fix security-related defects at all points in the software development lifecycle.  “As long-term investors in cybersecurity software, we are impressed with the speed and quality of innovation at Veracode,” said Seth Boro, a managing partner at Thoma Bravo. “Software security is one of the most consequential issues facing companies as they look to compete in the digital economy. ResMed to Acquire MatrixCare for $750 Million, Expanding Out-of-Hospital SaaS Portfolio into Long-Term Care Settings

San Diego – November 5, 2018 – ResMed has announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately held MatrixCare, a US company, specialising in long-term post-acute care software. Their solutions are complementary to ResMed’s current software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings in home medical equipment, home health and hospice. Broadcom Inc. Completes Acquisition of CA Technologies

San Jose, California – 5th November 2018 - Broadcom Inc, a global technology company that designs, develops and supplies semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, has announced that it has completed its acquisition of CA Technologies. CA's common stock will now cease to be traded on the NASDAQ and CA will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Broadcom. VIVA Kuwait Signs Initial Agreement to Acquire QualityNet
Kuwait – 4th November 2018 - Telecommunications firm, VIVA has announced that it has signed an initial agreement with Bahrain’s Batelco and National Bank of Kuwait to purchase the entire share capital of QualityNet General Trading and Contracting. Established in 1998, QualityNet is the market leader in the fixed data communications and internet services industry in Kuwait. Batelco Group acquired 44% of the company in 1999, subsequently increasing its shareholding to 90% in 2014, while NBK holds 10%. As agreed between the parties, the deal price will be established on the completion of the full transfer of the shares to VIVA subject to the satisfaction and fulfillment of certain conditions. QualityNet’s network reaches North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Africa through various partnerships and strategic business alliances; among them are Batelco, STC, Omantel, Orange, Etisalat, and Qtel.

PrecisionHawk Acquires Uplift Data Partners
PrecisionHawk, Inc., a provider of drone technology for the enterprise, has announced that it has purchased Uplift Data Partners. Accenture Interactive to Bolster Creative Capabilities by Acquiring Kolle Rebbe

Hamburg – 2nd November 2018 – Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire Kolle Rebbe, one of Germany’s leading creative agencies, known for its digital-first approach. The Hamburg-based agency will become part of Accenture Interactive and strengthen its ability to create and deliver integrated brand experiences for clients in Germany and across other geographies. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Kolle Rebbe creates cross-channel advertising campaigns and digital content for clients across various industries. The agency employs approximately 300 artists, designers, digital designers, technologists, concept engineers and copywriters at its Hamburg headquarters.

OpenText to Acquire Liaison Technologies, Inc. for $310 Million

WiseTech Global acquires Swedish customs and logistics solutions provider, CargoIT

Sydney, Australia & Stokholm, Sweden - 31st October 2018 - Global logistics solutions group, WiseTech Global, has announced the acquisition of CargoIT i Skandinavien (‘CargoIT’), a customs management and logistics solutions provider in Sweden. Headquartered in Stockholm, CargoIT offers customs management solutions along with their freight forwarding, warehousing and transport solutions to over 150 customers, which include DHL, Kerry Logistics, SAS Cargo, Clas Ohlson, Mondelez International, Mitsubishi Motors, Hyundai, and many other logistics providers and organisations.
